BD Bodyguard Syringe Driver (minimum 10 attendees)

Our  BD Bodyguard Syringe Driver course provides a foundation training so that Registered Nurses can offer end of life care when appropriate for their residents utilising this particular syringe driver.  The course can also serve as an update for more experienced staff. You will need a minimum of 10 attendees to book this option. 

Course formats are available:

VIRTUAL via Zoom pro - for groups of staff via face to face classroom with optional 3 months access to online course materials and optional development of a bespoke educational platform to help meet service improvement and organisational development needs.

FACE TO FACE - for groups of staff within a face to face classroom with optional 3 months access to online course materials and optional development of a bespoke educational platform to help meet service improvement and organisational development needs.

This course with encourage staff to utilise Syringe Drivers to benefit their residents and families.  help staff to reduce GP call-outs, reduce calls to ambulance services and help nurses provide more services in-house and improve the quality care of residents whilst maintaining their safety. This course includes a competency statement which complies to the recommendations from the Francis Report 2013 & can be used for Nurse Revalidation.
