Clinical Assessment for Registered Nurses (minimum 10 attendees)
Introduction
Our Clinical Assessment course provides Registered Nurses with the knowledge and skills to competently assess their residents who present with acute illness or injury within the care home setting. You will need a minimum of 10 attendees. Prices reflect number of attendees, course equipment/materials needed, travel and accommodation as required. Please contact us for more information. This course is available for groups of Registered Nurses VIRTUALLY or ONSITE (duration 7 hours).
This course aims to equip Registered Nurses (RN) with the knowledge and skills to effectively assess and triage patients in order to make informed decisions as to whether patients require hospital admission or a GP visit. This course is suitable for RN working in Nursing Homes, Care Homes, Out-of-Hours Centres and Walk-in-Centres. We include our own patient assessment tool based on NEWS 2 scoring which is now ratified & used in primary care. We can also include the verification of expected death within the course content if desired.
